Raewyn Harris

I am a trained teacher and have taught in many Primary Schools in Hawke's Bay.

I enjoy teaching art to children at all levels, always encouraging them to express  themselves in ways which reflect their cultural identity and love of their environment

I have always had a passion for arts and crafts and I have recently been exploring the use of watercolours and pastels. My inspiration is taken from the landscape which provides a rich source of ideas for my artwork. I am particularly drawn to the colours, patterns and textures which surround us and I like to capture these elements in my paintings.

 My paintings have been purchased for private art collections in London, Paris, USA, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
