Brent Redding

Brent is a Napier based self-taught painter. He has been full time since 1993, with some time out on other projects, but when exhibiting, it has been mostly in Australia. Brent paints in several styles, from landscape to his larger works, which have an overall surreal feel, but often incorporate elements of other genres. He also involves himself in some commercial art and mural painting.
At the 2004 annual charity wine auction his painting, "Red White and Blues" was sold for a record price of $26,000 in aid of Cranford Hospice.
