For almost twenty years, Jan Maree has followed New Zealand's wild Kaimanawa horses — through the ranges, the annual muster, and into the domestic homes where these magnificent animals begin new lives. Her exhibition, Heart and Soul – A Kaimanawa Story, explores resilience, belonging, and the enduring bond between horses, people and the natural world.
