Deb Bell

All My life I have been different from the way I look, the way I dress to the way I envelop life.  To create is every part of my being, with the passion, determination and motivation bringing to fruition my ideas and dreams - my love of beautiful things and most importantly the opportunity to share them with you.

Whilst living in Brisbane I attended a one day workshop in glass bead making - Gorgy beads.  I was hooked, my first beads were very misshapen - it was so difficult to make a round bead - my bees looked like cross eyed slugs.  I have kept them as a reminder of my journey.  After spending many hours in the "shed" (now my gorgeous studio) perfecting a technique that I read about or with sheer persistence and experimentation, creating the most beautiful rose buds and striped beads encrusted with roses and leaves; now they are a sight to behold.
