Greg Melville is a retired Architectural Designer residing in Wellington. A member of Wellington Potters and Ceramics NZ Greg first began potting in the mid-70s recently returning to creating ceramics at his studio in Breaker Bay.
Greg is currently exploring the use of fonts as three-dimensional decorations for his stoneware slab pots along with creating three dimensional slab pots using common two dimensional forms
His slab-built ceramics are fired to 1180 degrees C in an electric kiln.
